I'm working on a book on free Negroes in Norfolk and am willing to search through my records for look ups. The registers aren't extant, so I'm using a variety of records to reconstruct the population and identify as many people as possible through 1840.

I also have numerous records from the late 1780's to 1853 and am presently abstracting federal census for the years 1830, 1840 and 1850.
