I recognize many of the surnames you mentioned to be found in my area, the Miami Valley of west central Ohio from the 1820's forward. My research which started as a "family" genealogy soon broadened to a community, then a sectional genealogy as so many of these surnames connected in some way to my family lines.

The surnames mentioned that I may be able to help you with that migrated to this area of Ohio are: Archer, Nickens, Weaver, Manly, Melton, Bizzell, Chavis, Collins, Wiggins, Robbins, Bass, Newsome, Scott and Walden.
