I am searching for information on William Croker, free colored of Orange County NC. His youngest son, John Nelson Croker was bound out in 1847 to Solomon Allen, a doctor in Orange later Alamance County. John Nelson married a free woman of color from Chatham County upper regiment, Sarah Lineberry. Sarah's mother was Caty Lineberry. Sarah also had siblings named Caty and Harrison. John Nelson had two siblings that I am aware of: Tempy Croker Archey (she married Larkin Archey of Chatham County) and William Croaker (he married Cornelia (Niely) Archey of Chatham County). Information on any of the above named individuals would be greatly appreciated.
