I'm looking for information on Augustus McCuen, married Almeda Sennett (could be Sinnett). Almeda died in 1939 is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, OH. They had 8 children, one of whom was Reatha Arcelia (McCuen) Goins, born January 16, 1899 in the Kanawha WV area. Other children were: James, Morris, Burt, John, Harry, Bessie and Carrie.

The only info I have on Augustus was told to me by my father and uncle. It's said that he worked on a paddle wheel boat pushing barges on the Ohio River between Pittsburg and Cincinnati and that he drowned when the boat sank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
