Thanks for your info. Pat and I grew up together, in fact, most people thought we, indeed were relatives. It's great to hear that you all had a family reunion in Sharon because most of the documents Pat had were burned in the house fire. Her daughter had been making inquiries of her mother's family. There are several questions that come to mind, perhaps you may answer them as I journey along with the McGruder's (who lived next door to Roxanna Bruce Dillard) in relationship to the Lucas/Waters/Walters families. Right now, I've lucked up on an interesting clue to the puzzle on the Jackson/Hilton families from Washington County which I'll post later on this web site since the primary source to my new information came from this forum.

By the way, are you named for your Aunt Martha Bruce? She was lots of fun with the cutest dimples...
