My father's side has its roots in Caswell, Alamance, and Caswell counties in North Carolina. My mother's side was in Virginia. The counties in Virginia are Lunenburg, Brunswick, and Pittsylvania. Of these six counties, I know of Saponi connections in all but Pittsylvania and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the confederation had a presence there as well. Unfortunately, I can't speak to Southampton or Greensville Counties in Virginia.
