First of all, family tradition has always stated that Solomon Bruce came from Hardy County, West Virginia (formerly Virginia). I realize that documentation is crucial to all research; however, sometimes if it looks like a horse, smells like a horse and there is no other horse by that name, it must be that horse. If you disagree that the Solomon Bruce who married Jane Fisher is not the same Solomon Bruce who came into Greene County or is the son of Sarah Bruce, then prove that it isn't. In fact, Solomon has children named after Sarah and so does his son Andrew. I am convinced and have not found anything to disprove otherwise. Have you found another Solomon Bruce? What would you accept as "proof"?
