Hi,

Suggest you post this to main forum - since this forum deals with before 1865. There are Duncombes in Monroe county FL during several census periods. The spelling changes however -sometimes Duncan, Duncomb and Duncon.

1900 - Duncon, James 40
Lived in: 5 Ward Key West, Monroe County, Florida
Series: T623 Microfilm: 174 Book: 2 Page: 165

Listed with a son Charley born 1887 and other children - son Robert and daughter Lizzie. The father seems to have been born in the Bahamas. Can't read wife's name - it is not Violet.
