I am researching the Chavis-Chavous line. I noticed in your post that you have a connection to the Chavis line. My ggg grandfather is listed in Mr. Heinegg's book, he was Ellison Chavous. I am trying to find Ellison's brothers, William, Henry & Sterling. Ellison's sister Lydia Chavous Harris moved into Jackson County OH and their is a good chance that maybe her brothers moved into the area also. I would love to exchange information on the Chavis family with anyone doing research on them. The other Chavis connected names I am researching are Harris, Wilson, Brandem & Stewart. There is a Walden I am interested in also. Mr. Heinegg has him listed as John Chavis Walden.
