Hi Selma and Linda. You might also have a look at the Petersburg register. I have it on my site up to about 1819, and the archives has it on interlibrary loan microfilm to 1865.

I can do lookups for the 1813 and earlier tax lists for Dinwiddie which have separate lists "free Negroes and Mulattos."
