AfriGeneas family, Roane Smothers is doing a TREMENDOUS JOB in his efforts to share and perserve the history.... and SAVE the remaining structures of this settlement (Longtown) established by FPOC's, many were/are his ancestors, in the very early 1800's (ca 1810-1820).
