Arthur prior to 1880 in SC when he is listed as married to Mahala Oglesby, a FPOC; Arthur's son Geo is my gfather and his wife, my gmother's family was also of FPOC; because there appears to be a trend for FPOC's to intermarry, I am wondering about Arthur's status and I haven't been able to place him as enslaved so far, although I am primarily leaning in that direction.
