One of my Charity cousins who is also a member of the Bradby family had a very hard time about 5 years ago convincing some members of the Pamunkey tribe that their were related. They finally relented and accepted them as kin. But, I understand that some family member do not attend one of the powwows in Charles City because they are not made to feel welcome. This particular branch of the Charity family also have connections to the Adkins family.
