Hi, I accidently came up on this thread because I'm currently attempting to trace York Simmons, Charles Newsum, and Samuel Jones back to the Revolutionary War in hope that this may bring me to the specific Quakers who owned them and tell us how they became to be in Ohio as early as 1812, etc. More specifically, I'm looking into a possibility of land provided to those soldiers through Land Grants.

Where may I did find the data base for the Cannady family. My reason for asking is because of my extended families: Kennedy, aka Cannada, through the McGee (family from Ohio), then back to the Walters/Water/Lucas families from Loudoun County, VA, who later migrated to Pennsylvania.
