To the person who is searching for Caroline Gomez in Mobile County:

Realizing that this is an older post, I am hopeful that you are still interested in this search. This is my grgrandmother also. It is believed that she married a McEvoy (McAvoy) between 1877-1880. She is living with her parents in the 1880 census. By 1910 she is somewhere else in Alabama and has two daughters Sadie and Patricia Williams. I can find no records of her marriages.
Caroline (Carrie) is said to have had four children. I don't know for sure if that is true.
I'm not even sure that Sadie and Patricia are hers although Sadie's husbands grandchildren are living.
Francisco Gomez was a tinner (it was a family owned-operated business)
sons Oscar, Pensacola (Penz) and of course Caroline.
