There is documentation via the Guion Miller and 1896 Cherokee Application files however, none of the descendants were able to enroll due to the fact that Henry Curtis had "abandoned" the Cherokee Nation when he left North Carolina and moved to Illlinois.

The rootsweb Clinton County, Illinois website has several transcribed records that document the Curtis and extended families.
