I am researching this Mayhew family. Would you be willing to share info and items such as pictures & copies of records. This is a very interesting family and I was glad to find someone else researching them. I am particularly interested in the Cherokee connection with this family, I was told it was through Henry Curtis, father of Henry's wife Elizabeth. but have not documented it as of yet.
