Does anyone have any information on Rachel Keys Chess, born about 1775. The wife of John(Jean) Chavis(Chevis). This John Chavis, born about 1754, migrated to Louisiana. I am descended from his daughters. Nancy Mary Chevis and Marie Jeanne Chavis through their marriages to Fracois Esprit(Lebon) and Louis Honore Gradenigo respectively. However, my research is a little suspect.

I am very interested in Rachel because she represents the end of my maternal line, my 5th great grandmother.
