Hello and Happy Thanksgiving,
I've just recently learned of a wonderful FREE library located in the Bronx, New York, that has one of the world's best (literally) American Indian Collection of documents, history, etc.. In addition this library also has history on the Bronx and New York.
The library is the Huntington Free Library and Reading Room, located at 9 Westchester Square -- Bronx, NY 10461 (718) 829-7770. I have come to learn that this library is a great resource for those of us researching in New York and also researching their American Indian roots. The records there are impressive.
Another thing, if you all don't mind, please support afrigeneas and all of the establishments that offer quality service to researchers for free. It is usually sites like Afrigeneas and the Huntington libraries of the world that make our information free and accessible.
