I believe your Gallup Place, OH. is Gallipolis, OH. Gallipolis is located in Gallia County, OH.... southeastern Ohio on the Ohio River. It was a "settling" spot for many newly freed AA's and on a major route of the Underground Railroad in early Ohio history and prior to the Civil War.
