I am a descendant of Benjamin Brown, Sr. whose son was Bernis Brown. The only slave names I have are of those Benjamin Brown's will refers to and only first names there.

Bernis was ten years old and inherited a tract of land bounded between Robert Harris, Benjamin Thurman and James Woods as far as the big branch southward and the new Plantation and land adjoining on the Pasture fence Mountain on the old county line and one Negro woman named Venus and her child Peter.
