what that person said was tacky and disrespectful. I do agree. Unfortunately, some of the europoen ancestry of "black" people did come from the rapping of women in slavery, but not ALL people. There seems to be this myth running through the heads of us believing that ALL of the europeon ancestry comes from rape,but I've come to find out not only in my personal history but in the history of many black people, europeon ancestry didnt come from Rape. I also realize that a lot of black people are uncomfortable or even refuse to talk about their racially mixed ancestry. They feel like if say something like ...well.. some of my ancestors were europeon or indian.. many folks feel like you are ashamed of being "black" by acknowledging the fact that we are the products of many cultures. Yea, I want to save some money in order to take the genetic admixture test. Some surprises may show up.
