Your response to Selma came across a little harsh. What YOU don't know is that Selma has been helping out on the Afrigeneas mailing list at least since at 1996. She was the one who transcribed the register of free negroes of Sussex Co., VA. I also believe she did a partial list for Southampton Co. She is one of the best sources that I know for information in southeastern VA. She was one of the first persons to help me when I came online and had no idea of where to go to find information or who to contact. I for one appreciate all that she has to offer any time, any place.
