I'm tightening up my genealogy. I appreciate your input. My Hurst line may have originated in Southhampton Co but that remains to be substaniated; at this point I am not sure. From what I know the ones I know for sure settled and lived in and around Henrico Co. and they were free people listed alternatively as black, white, mulatto and Indian. I'll let you know more when I check with my elders. I do definitely have a paternal Native Virginian bloodline from the Ware and/or Hurst lines and that was validated by my great grandmother while she was alive.
