The Copelands are my husband's folks who were originally from Nansemond Co., VA. The matriarch is Rose Copeland born around 1820. Eva Copeland married into the Weaver family of Hertford Co., NC. The counties that I am interested in are Gates, Northampton, Hertford and Bertie.
