mother Ethel - age 24 born NC father born VA, mother born NC, son Robert 3 yrs 1 month, daughter Victoria 1 yr 2 months

In 1900 -

Jiggetts, Robert
Lived in: Hawtree Township, Warren County, North Carolina
Series: T623 Microfilm: 1222 Book: 1 Page: 37

Ethel,born Oct 1895 is listed with parents:
Robert - age 25, born July, VA both parents born VA and wife Bell 25, born NC, both parents born NC married 7 years

other children are:
son Earnest 6 years
daughter Clorian or Glorian 2 years
son Alesander 2 months

I do not see Robert listed in 1880 - he may have another first name - however there are Jiggetts families in both Pittsylavania county VA and Meckelenberg county VA - which might be a place to look for this families roots.

There are also white Jiggetts in the slave schedules - post to the slave research forum to get hewlp on going into the slave period.
