The Walden family with various spellings, was in Ohio much earlier than the late 1800's.

My Walden lines appear in the Census records for Ohio as early as 1830 in Ross Co., Ohio and they were there before the 1830 Census was taken. I have no knowledge of Hughes and Chestnutt connections, but that doesn't mean there is not one. All three (3) families were contemporaries with each other in Ross and surrounding counties.
