I am a direct descendent of John Chavis Walden. His daughter, Ann (listed as Nancy in many of the Moore County censuses) was my great-great grandmother. I have collected a great deal of information regarding family members who lived in Cumberland, Moore, Chatham and Randolph counties.

I understand that members of the family moved to Ohio in the late 1800's and some may be related to Langton Hughes and Charles W. Chesnutt. I am seeking information on how they are related to Hughes and Chesnutt.
