They all settled in New Orleans. We have Francois Lavigne who served in D'Aquins Militia, and his sons Victor Jean Louis Lavigne, Gustave Lavigne, and Hnery Lavigne who all served in the Civil War, first with the LA native Guards, and then in the United States Colored Troops........Thanks for the link,,,this get more and more interesting every day!
