I am not sure, but I believe the Lewis and Meyers moved to Ohio. My father just revealed to me that his family's surname is Lewis and his great-grandfather moved from Virginia to Barnesville, OH. My father was born in the 1940s so it can be assumed that his great-grandfather was not too far away from being a slave.
