Re: Louisa ? 1808 wife of Josiah Thomas

No-unfortunately all I have is Mary E as well. By the way-my grandfather Albert was married to Alverta Elizabeth Byrd; they had 5 children-Francis, Clyda Mae (still lives in Uniontown); Alberta Elizabeth (everyone called her Jeanie); my dad Edward Lewellyn Thomas and my uncle James Albert Thomas (still lives in Uniontown).
I just started getting the Uniontown paper online a couple of weeks ago and saw the obiturary for David Thomas. I have a copy of the obituary of a William H. Thomas who died in 1938 who was from Isabella. There is a son listed that is Davis. Perhaps this is the David Thomas who was the father of David Thomas. I knew David and his brothers who lived up the hill from us. His younger brother Mark Anthony is buried in the Thomas Cemetary. He died of a tragic accident as well.
Where is the Thomas family picnic and when? My side of the Thomas family just had their family reunion outside of Baltimore. Usually it is in Harrisburg or Uniontown.
Thanks for the information on the Fishback story. It makes sense. I will look up this Ralph Thomas (which I believe I have seen as Relf). There is often a story about a third brother. I have not been in touch with Dennis Lancaster or Donna Hodge. I did email Dennis Lancaster because his email address was on a website listing a lot of information on the Thomas family but I did not get a response. I did meet with Nina for a day sometime ago and she really gave me a ton of information since her mother was a Thomas. I knew her from Mt. Rose Baptist Church from the time I was little. I did not know then that she was a Thomas. You may or may not know that she died recently. Someone in Uniontown is trying to find information on her son to see what happened to the wealth of genealogy information she had. Much of my information in family tree maker is from a disk she had (although some of it leads to dead ends). Rev. Tucker (whose mother was a Thomas) and Patty Tarpley Blannon have been looking into family history as well. I will be in Uniontown for part of the week of August 6th. Do you live in the area? Will send you an email with my Family Tree Maker information. I believe I have an older version than yours. My email address is Talk to you soon.
