I have been researching the Thomas family in Uniontown, Pa. for a few years. Although I don't have any information on Louisa (who is alternately listed in records as Louise or Laura) I am really interested in the parents of Henry and Josiah Thomas (Louisa's husband). The "story" is that they were part Pennsylvania Dutch/German and also Indian. Sometines they are listed in records as white, black or mulatto. If you have anything that would be helpful I would really appreciate it. I can send you the family tree information on the descendants of Louisa and Josiah. I am one of those descendents.
