I am looking for WEST...VA. descendants of Dilcie WEST, a free person of color, mother of 16, sold pastries and cakes to support her 16 children, two of who were : Maria , listed in FPOC in Staunton , VA and Augustus, also listed there ca 1820 and later. Maria married _______ CAMPBELL, one of the wealthiest men, black or white in antebellum VA. Both of the children mentioned above are in the listing of FPOC in Staunton (also Fredricksburg area)
