The documents who found came a year later involving Pierre Sam, Louis Sam, and Pierre Esope.

You are confusing Pierre Esope, mulatto as being the free negro Pierre SAM because they both used Pierre as a part of their name. In the records, Pierre Esope is distinguished from Pierre SAM. So this Pierre SAM is not Pierre ESOPE. Two different men both with Pierre as part of their man, both associated with SEME. One the son. The other, a slave.
