harrison, I think there is a little confusion. Two of those are different people.

The Jean Louis Malveaux who married Elisabeth Rosalie Sam was the son of Jean Baptiste Malveaux Sr, the brother of Laurent. This Jean Louis Malveauxs mother was Celeste, former slave of Pierre RICHARD.

The Jean Baptiste Malveaux Jr. who married Pauline Pitre was another son of Jean Baptiste Malveaux Sr.

Basically they were two brothers. Its kind of confusing because a lot of these guys share the same name over the generations.

The Jean MALVEAUX who married my relative, Sidonie SAM, was the grandson of Jean Baptiste MALVEAUX
