Those records you posted were interesting in that it mentioned my ancestor Louis SAM, Pierre SAM, and Esope in the same record. Looks like Magdalaine's kinfolks wanted some of the property Louis and Pierre lived on and owned. So it adds a little details on the life of my gggg grandfather, Louis SAM or SEMME(as he is first known on a cattle brand he registered for at St. Martin Parish in 1811(the earliest I have seen him mentioned with the surname SEM(SAM).
