I am looking for information about my mother's family (Dunmore)from Cecil County, MD. They were said to have been indentured servants of a family named Squires. The Dunmores were said to have come from Cameroon. I'm trying to find info about the practice of bringing indentured servants from Africa (and I believe to England) and then to America. I found some info from a Maryland Census genealogy site, but lost it when I changed computers.
