Ahhh, Chavis, now THAT is a common one! Very familiar with that line, and they seemed to intermarry with all the other free Black lines in NC! They are a tough one to reconstruct the family though. I haven't really don't much with the Bibby family, but who knows, maybe one of his relatives has been working back, and when I (or someone else) works forward on that line, we'll connect!
