Hi all! Some of you already know me and about my research into fpoc in antebellum NC. I've been doing research on identifying and documenting fpoc in antebellum NC for about 7 years now. I just started a new blog about my research, I'll be talking about my research in general, resources available, possible book or website reviews related to the subject, mini-bios of various folks I'm currently doing research on, such as Jupiter Mayo or Laurence Pettiford, etc., as well as general genealogy information that I think you'll find useful, such as preservation of old photos (I'm a trained archivist and librarian by profession).
