I was referring to my ancestor Thomas Owen's letter to a friend written in the 1850s. I have transcribed copies of these letters, but they don't mention any of his siblings (or even his parents) by name.

As far as I know, Mosbey did have a son named Jesse. Jesse married Sarah Patterson. I'm not sure if his relationship to Mosbey has been confirmed, but perhaps my cousins can help.
