Yep....noticed the same thing.

Another observation is how wide the circle of counties for the marrying parties. It seems, at least in Ohio, from 1820 and prior to the Civil War most counties had an AA presence in varying degrees.

Somehow through the Church and other means connections were made for these marriages to take place. My family lines have early marriges in counties ranging from NW Ohio (Hancock) to SW Ohio
(Warren) to Western Ohio (Darke) to SE Ohio (Washington) and most points in-between.
