Did you also collect free registers, or registrations? The reason for my questioning is that I'm researching the Norfolk community and have discovered that the surviving free registers are primarily those of people born outside of Norfolk. Furthermore, many of the free registers were issued in other counties, rather than in Norfolk.
I was wondering if this was true in other areas in the state.
