I am afraid that I have not retrieved any of my files as yet. There have been too many family medical problems and other areas requiring my attention. It is difficult when there are no siblings to help out. I also do not have any computerized records. I lost so much when my old computer broke down that I have never even installed another genealogy program on my present computer. It makes it difficult, as someone sent me a gedcom of another family two days ago and I cannot open it. I would like to find out more information on Andrew and Mary Redman of Philadelphia but have not had any time. I am having a difficult time believing that it was the same couple who were in Loudoun County, VA. It seems likely from the wills of Andrew Redman of Loudoun and his son, John Redman, that Andrew had two sets of children by two women. Even if the first wife was Mary Stevens/Stephens, she would not likely have been the mother of John Redman. Since there were a number of Redman families in the Philadelphia area, it would not be unlikely for there to have been another Andrew, and the name of "Mary" was the most common given name for a woman. Also, a Philadelphia connection would not explain where the Cherokee Indian blood claimed by Indian John's descendants came from.
