Were Filmore's parents free or were they slaves? Did he have any sisters or brothers? I found Key's on the 1870 federal census in Sumner, TN. They were located in Dist. 1, 3, 4, and 5. Are any of these names familiar; Alex, Hillery, Martha, Louisa, Maurice, Jeremiah, Sally, and Henry. There is a Richardson family that has a person name "Alex Key" living with them.
