Greetings,

Would like to exchange information with anyone researching this Sampson line found in Burnt Swamp, Robeson County, NC in 1850.

Have recently seen a "tree" that identifies Thomas Sampson and Elvie (Hammonds) Sampson as Henry's parents and Colonel John Sampson and Elsey (Hammonds) Sampson as Henry's grandparents. Also states that Colonel Sampson had another son, John Jr., and a daughter, Martha.

Is this information accurate/documented?

Have seen reference to Dicey Hammond(s) in this forum. Is she connected to these lines?
