My g-grandfather Charles H. Jones was born in Baltimore, Md. on 12 Sept 1838. Long an enigma in my 30+ years of research, I may have found him in the 1850 Census in Baltimore's Ward 15, residing with likely sisters Rachel and Jane Jones and 70 year-old Hester Williams.

I do know that when Charles passed in Washington DC in April, 1903 he was survived by a sister who resided in Baltimore. However, I don't know her name.

In 1870 Washington DC, Charles resided in the household of John L. and Clara Butler.

Soooo, is anyone out there researching FPOC Jones families? If so, do you have a Charles H. Jones who seemingly left Baltimore around 1862? For possible naming patterns, Charles' sons were Jesse, Frederick, Thomas, Raymond, Charles and Algernon.
