Thanks Vicky and Art. Yes this is my g-grandfather Abraham Bass and my g-uncle Everett, my father's namesake. I have these two records plus a record showing a marriage between Abe and Emily Owens on May 20, 1878. Cannelton, Indiana but no clues except born in North Carolina. No other family names. He's very elusive. There was also a daughter Evelyn Bass but not one clue about her. Thanks for your effort.
