If you tell me where to look I will be glad to spend my time at the Library of VA to see what else I can find. I have looked at tons of records & books for Benjamin Ruffs name on anything for any reason. He is not listed in any of the Rev War books for those that have served under Ruff or a variation of the surname Ruff. The only one I have located that mirrors this time if Thomas. I think also I have Pluckminn mispelled. I am also looking at John Campe Carter papers & will look for William Waters & Charles Harrison papers. I have looked at the oldest records Bedford County holds that have not been microfilmed or copied unless there is something hiding I am not aware of.
