Hello my name is C.Saunders,I'm having problems locating mulatto woman Patience Lawton.She is a FPOC in the 1860's census of Beautfort sc.St Lukes Parish,I'm really intrested in knowing if she were free in 1850's and was she married to become a lawton? I,d hoped to find that info in the 1850 census,is there anyone out here with this knowledge? Please responed Thank you C.Saunders
