In an interview done circa 2000 Dewey REDMAN expressed an interest in his genealogy.
I had hoped to uncover that info for him to enjoy in his old age.
But unfortunately it was not to be.

The great jazz musician Dewey REDMAN @75 passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2006.
He played his final concert on August 27, 2006 at the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival
in Tompkins Square Park on the Lower East Side of NY,Manhattan.
Dewey REDMAN is survived by son Tarik &
son Joshua REDMAN, who is a famous musician also.
